Our coalition is the result of many concerned citizens who came together to address the pet overpopulation in the Spokane area. Our membership consists of community leaders, veterinarians, members of all of the Spokane area shelters, (Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service, SpokAnimal CARE, and the Spokane Humane Society), rescue groups, and other interested parties.
We are seeking short and long-term solutions to our community's pet overpopulation problem. Our coalition has obtained non-profit status and through educational campaigns we are raising the level of awareness of this important issue.
Our sincere desire is that someday soon there will be no unwanted pets in our community. Every pet will have a home.
Our arms reach out beyond our community when a disaster requires the nation to respond. |
